In particular, Limecraft is committed to the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in media production and content management. Any AI-enabled methods and tools, including audio transcription, image recognition, and metadata processing, are designed to empower content creators and enabling them to create more compelling stories, while upholding the highest standards of privacy, security, and ethical integrity. Purpose This policy outlines our approach to the ethical deployment of AI technologies, ensuring they align with our customers’ needs and values. We prioritise transparency, accountability, and data protection, ensuring that our AI solutions enhance creative workflows without compromising user rights or content ownership. General Principles 1 Privacy & Data Protection Limecraft adheres to a strict zero-tolerance approach to sharing customer data with third parties. All AI-driven processes operate within secure environments, ensuring that customer content and metadata remain protected at all times. We comply with global data protection regulations, including GDPR, to safeguard user information and to protect our customer’s intellectual property. 2 Transparency & Explainability We believe AI should be understandable and predictable. Limecraft provides clear explanations of how our AI technologies process data, ensuring users have full control over their content. We continuously refine our algorithms to prevent bias and improve accuracy while keeping our customers informed about updates and enhancements. 3 Human Oversight & Control AI is a tool to assist, not replace, human decision-making. Limecraft ensures that AI-generated outputs, such as automated transcriptions or metadata enrichments, can be reviewed, edited, and approved by users. Responsibility & review This policy, also available in PDF format, is approved by the Board of Directors and signed by the Executive Chairman. It is distributed internally as part of the Limecraft Code of Conduct and via annual recurring training to all staff. It is shared externally via the Limecraft website and via distribution to both suppliers & customers. The Responsible Use of AI Policy is reviewed on an annual basis. The current version is in vigour as of January 2025.
