SATIS 2025, real-time collaboration, Adobe panel, Release Notes Limecraft 2025.7 – Notifications, Improved Limecraft Panel for Adobe, and Moving Items Jonna KokkoNovember 4, 2025 Limecraft’s seventh platform update of 2025 marks yet another important step in our transformation from a traditional Media Asset Management solution to a real-time collaboration hub for media professionals. Where once MAMs were built primarily for storing and organising content, today’s production workflows demand much more: instant and real-time collaboration, contextual notifications, and seamless integration with creative tools. With this release, Limecraft takes another confident stride in that direction, helping teams collaborate faster, smarter, and with full control over their workspaces. Officially unveiled at SATIS Expo in Paris, release 2025.7 showcases how Limecraft continues to redefine collaboration for creative and production teams across Europe and beyond. It introduces configurable notifications, improved collection management, and a refined experience within the Limecraft Panel for Adobe Premiere Pro. We’ve also included a small but impactful improvement for accessibility — configurable thumbnail sizes — helping users adapt Limecraft’s interface to their personal preferences. Spotlight Feature: Configurable Notifications (Early Access) Until now, notifications in Limecraft were predefined, offering limited flexibility to control when and how you were alerted. With release 2025.7, we’re introducing Configurable Notifications, the first step towards a more personalised, real-time collaboration experience. As part of an early access programme, users can now define which events should trigger a notification — included but not restricted to ingest completion, transcription update, or new comments on a shared clip. You decide how you want to stay informed: Email notifications, for users who prefer updates directly in their inbox. In-app notifications, for those who want instant alerts without leaving Flow. With the new in-app notifications, a bell icon now appears in the application header, showing pending alerts and allowing you to keep track of ongoing workflows at a glance. This system is just the beginning — a foundation for broader notification types and channels coming in future releases, ensuring that Limecraft becomes the central hub where collaboration happens in real time. 👉 Interested in joining the early access programme? To make this more intuitive, we’ve extended the collection management features in Limecraft Flow. You can now move clips from one collection to another — not just assign them to multiple places. This means cleaner organisation, fewer duplicates, and a clearer overview of where each asset belongs. There are two easy ways to move clips: Action-based move: use the new Move to collection command to relocate selected clips. Drag and drop: simply drag clips between collections — hold CTRL/CMD to switch from “assign” to “move”. You can also set your preferred default behaviour in workspace settings, giving you full control over how drag-and-drop behaves. This improvement may seem small, but it’s a big step toward frictionless, real-time organisation — essential for large-scale productions with evolving structures. Limecraft Panel for Adobe Premiere Pro – More Fluid Than Ever For editors working in Adobe Premiere Pro, the Limecraft Panel is the bridge that keeps creative and collaborative workflows connected. In release 2025.7, we’ve made the panel even smoother, faster, and more predictable. Here’s what’s new: Persistent layout preferences: column sizes and view preferences are now remembered automatically. Navigation memory: reopen the panel and pick up exactly where you left off. Improved subtitle language selection: clearer guidance on which subtitle languages are supported. Refined look and feel: improved styling and loading visuals aligned with Limecraft Flow. Contextual clip actions: only relevant actions are displayed — for example, subtitle creation and downloads are only available once ingest is complete. The result? A more streamlined editing experience that feels native to Premiere Pro while keeping your media securely managed in Limecraft Flow. Accessibility Upgrade: Configurable Thumbnail Sizes Accessibility and usability remain at the heart of our design philosophy. With this update, we’re introducing configurable thumbnail sizes in the Library view, allowing users to adjust the size of visual previews according to their preference or screen setup. The familiar view buttons have been reworked into a single dropdown, now offering additional options to fine-tune thumbnail size. Whether you want a compact overview of dozens of clips or larger previews for visual review, Flow now adapts to your workflow — not the other way around. This small but meaningful update enhances usability for all users, particularly those working on high-resolution monitors or with accessibility needs. More Info Want the full picture?
