Ghent, Belgium, 17 June 2025 – Continuing our trajectory of delivering consistent innovation for media producers and content owners, Limecraft is proud to unveil its fourth major platform update of the year, featuring dashboards with real-time user statistics, more flexibility in the verification process, and an updated Limecraft panel for Adobe Premiere Pro . The 2025.4 release, rolled out today, reflects our ongoing commitment to transparency, creative autonomy, and operational excellence, with targeted enhancements across analytics, quality control, postproduction workflows and platform stability.

1. Dashboards: Insight-Driven Decisions for Enterprise Users

With the volume and complexity of content workflows increasing, operational intelligence and accountability are no longer a luxury – it’s essential. That’s why we introduced a comprehensive analytics environment under the account settings for customers on an Enterprise plan.

The newly launched Analytics Dashboards offer a detailed overview of account and workspace activity. Admins can now monitor consumption metrics such as cloud storage usage, transcription hours, and subtitling output across all active workspaces. Crucially, this information can be filtered by workspace and date range, or exported as raw data for further analysis outside Limecraft.

This new capability gives account owners and operational leads the visibility they need to stay on top of budgets, forecast future needs, or report against internal KPIs and compliance frameworks.

2. Improving Quality Control in Delivery Workspaces: Introducing Partial Rejects

In prior releases, Limecraft’s Delivery Workspaces were extended with bulk actions, metadata locks, expiry dates and asset-level commenting. This release further enhances the review workflow by introducing Partial Rejects as part of the verification process.

When reviewing incoming delivery requests, content managers can now flag specific components – such as a subtitle file, poster frame, or any metadata field – for revision. This allows for more nuanced review cycles and avoids the overhead of rejecting and resubmitting entire packages unnecessarily.

In case a deliverable is marked for partial rejection:

  • The “Mark as Approved” option is disabled until all flagged elements have been addressed;
  • Submitters are duly notified about which parts require rework;
  • Resolved issues can be confirmed with a single click once addressed.

The result is a more collaborative, targetted review process that helps teams uphold content quality while minimising turnaround effort.

3. Updated Limecraft Panel for Adobe Premiere Pro

Post-production teams working in Adobe environments benefit from a significant update to the Limecraft Panel for Adobe Premiere Pro, which now includes full support for Adobe Premiere Pro 2025.

Key improvements of this release include:

  • Multi-account selection: Users who have access to multiple Limecraft accounts can now select their intended account before browsing available workspaces.
  • Support for UNC paths: The Panel now properly handles Universal Naming Convention (UNC) paths, which is particularly relevant for teams accessing assets via shared network storage, enabling them to collaborate more smoothly.

These changes help maintain editing continuity and ensure seamless interaction between the Limecraft cloud and local infrastructure – a critical requirement for hybrid production environments.

4. Additional Enhancements and Platform Fixes

As with every release, 2025.4 includes a collection of usability improvements and performance optimisations designed to support media professionals across the board. Highlights include:

  • Improved playback of attached files in delivery requests, supporting a wider range of formats for previewing audio, video, images, and documents.
  • Clickable links in comments, making it easier to share references or additional resources during review.
  • Visible expiry dates in email notifications when sharing links externally.
  • Refined user invitation workflow for workspace admins, with better handling of whitespace in email addresses, clearer error messaging, and fail-safe group invitations.
  • New status indicators in the commenting UI, such as an hourglass icon showing which comments are scheduled for team-wide access.
  • Colour Pipeline and Ingest Enhancements for Limecraft Edge: Customers working with high-end cinema formats will benefit from significantly improved colour decoding for Sony X-OCN and RAW codecs, particularly from the Sony Venice 2 and Sony Burano. Limecraft Edge now uses clip-specific acquisition metadata to ensure more accurate tone mapping, including color tint shifts and exposure compensation. We’ve also introduced support for SGamut3.cine as an output colour space.
  • Additionally, Limecraft Edge can now be launched and used for source backup in offline mode, allowing greater flexibility during location shoots or when ingesting from isolated environments.
